Overview[]

The Lightning Tile is a Crate-Limited Item and a piece of Decor in My Restaurant. It got introduced with the Hypertech Update. It can be obtained from the Exclusive Hypertech Crate with a 5% chance (Comes with 8 tiles).

It is the first tile that is not just for decoration, but also offers added functional value: When placed under a DEFAULT (normal) customer it increases their eating speed by 2x!

Trivia[]

In the game, the speed is described as 2x. The developer blog^[1] states that speed is increased by 25%.
- It is confirmed that the Developer Blog is incorrect, and the correct speed increase is x2.
This item does not stack with the Silverware or Luxury Silverware tray.
This item only calculates a x2 eating speed to the default eating speed of customers, even if the customer uses a Silverware/Luxury tray.
